from 1920
This ad is for the Victrola and Victor Records. There is a photo of the Victrola model XVII, and a record. Text starts “It’s worth your while to know the truth” and goes on about the Victrola trademark and the need for both Victrola machines and the records to deliver proper sound.
There is a small painting of Nipper listening to ‘His Master’s Voice’. No mention of RCA yet, that’s still in the future.
This ad is full page, approx. 7” x 10”, carefully removed from an actual 1920 magazine.
