    Description

Travel back in time with this fine old guitar. Made by C.F. Martin & Company in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, it's a model 000-18. With a serial number of 228,276, Martin built it in 1966.
The pickguard is a replacement. The bridge is an accurate replacement. The end pin isn't original. There are two repaired top cracks, apparently with CA glue but no cleats. One is below the bridge. One is above the bridge and goes under the pickguard. The third and fourth string tuner shafts are slightly bent, but fully functional. Original Grover tuners.
Mahogany neck, back, and sides. Spruce top. 12th fret action is 4/32" on the bass side and 3/32" on the treble side. Saddle is just about as far down as it can reasonably go. 15-3/16" lower bout. 1-11/16" nut.
Comes in a hard case in good solid condition. Comes with a leather strapped stamped JIMMY. Comes with two newer songbooks: Hank Williams, Sr. and Gene Autry.
At three pounds, 12 ounces, it's a very light weight guitar. It's a classic All-American guitar and sounds wonderful.
