This 1984 Toyota 4x4 Extra Cab Pickup was purchased brand new two owners before me in my small town. When I got it about 4 years ago, I put a brand new 22R engine in it. Since then, I've put about 20,000 miles on it. The idea was to restore it, as this particular year was the last year with a solid front axle, and the Back to the Future fans and rock-crawler enthusiasts alike seek out these rare rigs; however, I don't have the time to get it looking like Marty McFly's. The bed is rusted on the sides, as are most from this particular year, and you won't find a sexy stereo system in it, or any, for that matter. The windshield is cracked, and, believe it or not, the original windshield from 1984. The 4-wheel drive works, and the hubs lock, and it starts cold. From a functional standpoint, this rig has been incredibly reliable after dropping an all new engine in it. I'm hoping to sell this to someone who will appreciate the history behind the rig, and someone who will hopefully restore it (and then they're worth somewhere in the tens of thousands... why am I selling now again?).
