Normally these are the best logs . I ordered 2 boxes because the store was out of them. The 1st box 3 logs went out after a half burn. Really nervous for the next one at these prices.

Easy to light, quick to get up to full flame, light smoke, solid heat, duration was about 2 hours at full strength and tapered off from there. I am very happy with the logs. I took a star off for the slow shipping (it came to the store 4 days later than it was initially promised when ordering).

These Gold Durafame (in the black packaging) are smaller than the regular Duraflame (in the yellow packaging). They burn for only 3 hours versus 4 hours for the regular ones --- and the flames are only a bit bigger. I find the regular Duraflames (because they are longer in length and burn longer) put on a better show

I tried these logs for the first time ever in my fireplace and I must say I was impressed. They are absolutely great. And the first one I burned did actually burn for about a good 3-hours as they said. I bought 24 logs and this was a good investment. I highly recommend this brand.

I tried one of the logs the other day to dry out my wood heater. They say these are not for heat and fireplace only but I needed only a small amount of heat. Well, after the log burned almost the 3 hours like the instructions claims it does I was impressed. It burns a pretty flame the whole time and in a fireplace would be soothing. Good product, but Duraflame always has good stuff.

These logs are so easy to ignite and burn cleanly for three hours. They are great if you want a traditional fire with less soot and mess. The only hitch is they don't give off the same amount of heat as with regular wood. But otherwise they're great...easy clean up.
