Antique LG White Ceramic porcelain hollow head Child bust w waving Blessing hand

Description

Interesting, very unusual and unique hollow porcelain ceramic bust of a child-
large figure 9.5" tall and about 7" across.
Pleasing face with a raised hand.  Not sure if it is a religious piece or not.....
At first I thought it may be a doll head but the hand negates that thought.
There are two holes in the back - not sure why....
There are some old pencil notations inside #6 and others--
Lovely sculptural piece that would command conversation on a shelf!
If you know what this was used for, made for, I'd love to know!
