    ANTIQUE SPANISH COLONIAL BLACK CHRIST / CRISTO NEGRO
    CRUCIFIX
    CARVED WOOD & HAND-CUT TIN
    ORIGINAL PAINT
    This lovely antique, hand-carved Cristo Negro Crucifix stands 18 1/2 inches tall and is about 9 1/2 inches wide.  The cross and Christ figure have the original brownish-black paint.  The hand-cut tin representing
    radiant light behind the crucifix has traces of original silver paint.  It appears that some small pieces of tin have shaped off over the years...and, some of the fingers are missing, as shown in the photos.  But, overall, the entire piece is in wonderful, antique condition.  Someone has added 4 small felt pads to the bottom of the base.  We left them on to prevent any scratching to the surface of the furniture that we have used to display this great piece in our home.  They can easily be removed should the buyer wish.  Buyer pays S&H & Ins.  All sales are final unless the piece has been misrepresented.
