    Description

    My Mom was gifted this Jesus Infant of Prague religious statue from her Godmother in 1963 as a wedding gift, along with two handmade vestments.  Not sure if the statue is made from plaster or chalkware, or where it originated from.  The majority of the church folks and neighborhood my mom grew up in was of Czech origin or "Old Country" as they call it.  The statue stands 17" high, base is about 5.5" wide in front and back and 5" wide on the sides.  The widest part of the statue measures 7" wide.  The statue itself weighs about 4 lbs.
    Some chips on base, front of statue on lower robe area, side of head, and fingers.  Could be easily touched up.  The cross on the crown at the very top is missing.  The vestments are hand sewn, may be silk fabric, with lots of lace and jewel detail.  Some of the lining of the outfits have stains, but nothing that shows on the outside.
