  • Condition: For sale is a Matao MW-9, obiously a direct (and pretty good) copy of a Mtin D-35. This guitar is all solid, with a spruce top, rosewood sides and three piece rosewood back. The scale length is 25 and 5/8" and the nut width is 1 and 11/16". Matao guitars were made at the Hoshino factory in Japan in the mid to late seventies.

    Description

    For sale is a Matao MW-9, obiously a direct (and pretty good) copy of a Martin D-35.  This guitar is all solid, with a spruce top, rosewood sides and three piece rosewood back. The scale length is 25 and 5/8" and the nut width is 1 and 11/16".  Matao guitars were made at the Hoshino factory in Japan in the mid to late seventies.
