  • Condition: Used with some imperfections in line with a vintage instrument which has been used quite a bit, but this guitar has also been refurbished and has upgrades.

    Description

    This is a vintage Old Kraftsman guitar with a bolt on neck, which makes neck adjustments far easier than the more conventional dovetail (which can require expensive neck re-sets with age.) While in the shop for refurbishment, my son did the following:
    • a full re-fret
    • sanded down the neck
    • added Grover tuners
    • removed the old metal tail piece and installed a custom rosewood bridge with some abalone inlay
    • added bridge pins with abalone dots
    • added bone nut
    • added saddle
    • replaced pick guard
    I tried to photograph the small imperfections, as this is a vintage instrument. I'm told it plays well, but I am not a guitarist. Please see the pictures for more information in regards to the condition of the guitar.
