If you are seriously looking for a beautiful vintage acoustic guitar this one is not to be passed over.
Bold and balanced response. Tonal qualities like no other Gibson acoustic. The J185 is the pinnacle of flat top design.
One of 648 made from 1951-1959.
Mahogany neck. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with double parallelogram inlays. Sitka spruce top, flamed maple sides and back. Sunburst finish.
Guitar is beautifully aged with minimal wear. A few nicks on the back of the neck and on the front lower bout.
Plays and sounds like a dream. 
Wonderful projection of sound.
This guitar has been part of a collection for over 35 years. Maintained and handled with care.Stored in controlled temp and smoke and odor free environment.
This guitar was sent to Gibson in 2007 and had the neck reset and was refretted. The original bridge was replaced. A small crack repaired by the bridge and a loose brace. Paperwork is available. Over 2,000.00 of work was performed.
Original Brown hardshell case in very good condition.
