Description
Thanks for taking a look at this portable fly-tying table!Every piece of furniture I have listed on ebay is handmade, by me, here in Eastern Kentucky. I have been offering and building fishing and tying furniture for some time, now, and I have a lot of fun doing it. Each piece is made at the time of the order and ships within 30 business days.
I call my little business, “Mountain Creek Anglers,” so if you know someone who has bought furniture from MCA – it’s me – a one-man show!
One thing you’ll find from all the furniture that I make is that it is practical – you’ll use it!
Here’s the information on the piece being offered:
The item being offered is The Salt Fly-Tying Table from Mountain Creek Anglers!
Below, are the specific details of "The Salt:"
1. The table is made of pine and has been hand painted light blue and white, and has been "weathered" to give it that ocean feel. It has been coated with three coats of spray polyurethane.
2. The table measures 26 inches high, by 19 ½ inches wide, and 13 inches deep.
3. In the photos above, you can view the table set up with tools and supplies that I use. ***These tools are not included.
4. The spool rack is two levels and extends 18 inches across the table. It holds 21 spools.
5. A magnetic strip has been placed along the bottom of the spool rack for drying flies and holding hooks.
6. On the left and right side of the top of the table there are instrument slots - 14 total.
7. Five drawers have been placed inside the table, which give you a total of 45 possible compartments.
8. On each end, just under the table top a "rack" has been placed to hold items like flash, chenille, and leg material.
9. On each side of the table top, five wine corks have been placed to hold flies, while they dry. The cork has been wrapped with "rope" to give it a "wharf" feel.
10. A trash hole has been placed in the center of the table top and includes a magnetic trash bin (under the table top) for easy trash removal.
11. The vise bar, which runs 15 inches across the front of the tabletop, is made for either right, or left-handed folks.
12. On the vise bar, your table will be personalized with your name and city, state - or you can choose what you want it to say!
13. On the back of the table, "The Salt" table logo has been placed.
14. There are four 1 1/2" hook & bead trays on the table top - they are lined with a magnetic sheet.
***Only items listed above are on this table. Painted fish and additional table accessories have been added in some of the pictures.
The last photo shows a table in use -
the table in these photos is actually a version of the Dix Table
, which I also make. It is the same size as The Salt Table, which is being offered.
There is minor assembly required - The table comes in two boxes, one with the top, the other with the base. Place the spool spindles in the pre-drilled holes, place the top on the base, level, and screw in place. Tap the wood plugs in the screw holes, and you're done! All screws and wood plugs are included.
