Thanks for taking a look at this portable fly-tying table!Every piece of furniture I have listed on ebay is handmade, by me, here in Eastern Kentucky. I have been offering and building fishing and tying furniture for some time, now, and I have a lot of fun doing it. Each piece is made at the time of the order and ships within 30 business days.
I call my little business, “Mountain Creek Anglers,” so if you know someone who has bought furniture from MCA – it’s me – a one-man show!
One thing you’ll find from all the furniture that I make is that it is practical – you’ll use it!
Here’s the information on the piece being offered:
The table being offered is my "Dix Table." This table evolved from the Paint Creek Table for those who want a little extra.
Below are the specs:
The table is made of pine and sealed with three coats of spray polyurethane.
The table measures 26 inches high, by 19 ½ inches wide, and 13 inches deep.
The double-layer spool rack runs the entire length of the desk and holds 21 spools.
In addition, there is magnetic tape secured to the base of the spool rack, which allows you to place your flies there, while they dry, or for hooks waiting to be tied.
Seven tool slots are placed on EACH SIDE of the table for a total placement of 14 tools.
The trash hole, placed in the back center of the table measures 3 inches in diameter (photos 5 & 6).
A trash bin is held in place with magnets on the underside of the table top for easy dispensing.
Two shelf dividers are in place on both shelves inside the table, which allows for six separate storage spaces.
Your table will be PERSONALIZED!
Your name and city/state will be engraved in a black nameplate across the front of the vise bar.
The vise bar, which runs 15 inches across the front of the tabletop, is made for either right, or left-handed folks.
The last photo shows a table in use.
There is minor assembly required - The table comes in two boxes, one with the top, the other with the base. Place the spool spindles in the pre-drilled holes, place the top on the base, level, and screw in place. Tap the wood plugs in the screw holes, and you're done! All screws and wood plugs are included.
