    Description

Stella / Harmony H929 Sunburst 1960s Parlor Vintage Acoustic Guitar & Case.
This is a 1966 Stella that comes with the original case and some accessories for fun (old string singles and a vintage Hamilton capo). This guitar was kept in excellent condition by the original owner.
It is strung with Martin SP Custom Lights and sounds amazing. It stays in tune and has surprisingly accurate intonation with its floating bridge. It’s a joy to play having low action and just enough string tension for its scale length and smaller body. This is definitely a “good one” when it comes to these older Stella’s.
I will pack it well with double boxing. I prefer to ship this time of year to avoid cold weather and the problems that brings with guitars.
Here’s a great quote about the Stella/Harmony guitar company of Chicago:
"Until the 1970s, the Harmony Company used only solid woods for just about every acoustic flat top instrument they made. Their Stella instruments were made from solid slab-sawn birch, which to the untrained eye often has a grain pattern that looks rather like “plywood”. Harmony Stella guitars usually have a poplar neck with a dyed maple or birch fingerboard. High-end Harmony flat tops feature solid mahogany and solid spruce components."
This will definitely make someone happy whether as a living room strummer or possibly a pro looking for some mojo. Thanks for looking.
