Florida Butterflies in the family of Papilionidae : All
Papilio
or swallowtails.
I was a younger butterfly
collector in the 1970’s and 1980’s
.  There were many fields and meadows filled with wildflowers.  Native butterflies were plentiful.  Now, all of my favorite collecting sites are gone.  They have been replaced with parking lots, roads, and new homes.  Butterflies are much harder to find in Florida with so much over-development.
These Florida butterflies are a mixture of species found back in the “good-old days”.  They are

The first set of pictures
shows wings closed and collection data of each species.  You get the exact specimen shown.  Also for each species,
an extra photo has been added
to show the butterfly wings spread.  This "spread" specimen is not shipped, for display only.  Check the internet for the most recent procedure to spread the wings.
