Authentic Vintage 1955 Original - Arnold Hoyer Archtop Acoustic Jazz Guitar
A very rare and collectible sample from the Mid1950's period with more traditional features, before his late 50's /early 60's and more radical designs emerged.
I acquired this guitar a couple of years ago from a prominent auction house and had it lovingly restored. It is fitted with a Bartolini Jazz Pickup which is attached at the Pick Guard and did not require any other modifications and is fully removable.
This guitar has a very distinct sound, its very own voice and will stand out among other guitars because of it's delicate mid-range and mid to high-range tonality with a whimsical quality to it that I have not heard from another archtop.
The best way to describe it maybe is "from another time", but than of course it is more than 60 years old and that is the attraction of playing a true vintage guitar.
