Vintage D. H. Thompson “Midge” Fly Tying Vise ; Plus Tools

I am pleased to offer this Vintage D. H. Thompson Ultra Fly Tying Vise equipped with the exceptionally scarce “Midge” collet and jaws. In over thirty years of collecting this is the only example I was able to find. Please note that this is an entirely different jaw than Thompson’s later small jaw offering. With an exceptionally small profile, this jaw permits easy tying on the smallest of hooks. The vise and jaws are in excellent condition showing little use; original box shows wear and soiling. Includes bodkin and midge size scissors, midge bobbin with metal spool, small hackle pliers and small whip finisher. A classic kit, every bit of which is ready to go to work supplying you with tiny flies for the most finicky trout.
