Factory order number stamped on neck block dates this instrument to 1953. Some say this era was Gibsons best.I agree! Totally original,dark sunburst,scalloped braces,small pickguard,big sound! I purchased this year's ago from the original owners son.I had a luthier go over it,he reglued 2 braces,replaced a few frets that were grooved. Wonderful original Gibson flattop getting harder to find.No cracks,comes with original case pictured,or I can ship it in a period correct hard case.71 years old!
