This guitar plays and sounds absolutely beautiful and the looks are just stunning to say the least. No cracks or repairs, the neck is lifting at the tail so a neck reset could be done for better action up closer and past the 12th fret but honestly it plays great as it is. New strings strung up on this beauty. The tuning peg is bent as you can see in the photos but this is very common on these oldies, still turns easy and has no issues staying in tune this guitar is lovely. Very rare version of the Archtop from Kay in the 1950s-1960s you usually see the rosewood neck this one has a maple fingerboard with Pearl red inlays. Yes Pearl red!!! It looks so cool! Matching maple adjustable bridge. I know some of you collectors out there would sell the bridge, tuners, pick guard plus bracket and metal Kay logo plate for the headstock (seeing that they are original) for my asking price if not more so please be generous when making an offer, I am open to helping anyone out who would love to own this beautiful piece of American music history so do not be shy shoot me your best offer!
