Vintage Original Washburn Acoustic Parlor Guitar Early 1900s
This is a beautiful early parlor guitar that, from all I can gather, is a Washburn model.
I’ve done as well as possible to describe and photograph so that you can discern exactly what model it is.
It measures 36.5” from the base of the body to the tip of the head stock.
The body is 11 and 5/8” at the widest point. The neck is 16 and 1/8” from the base to the nut at top. At the very last fret, the strings sit just a bit over 3/16” above the fretboard. The neck is 1 and ¾” wide at the top fret position. I believe all the tuners are original and work well.
I have left the strings in place and have loosened them all to take any tension from the neck and body.
I did this mostly to protect from problems in the body because there are several cracks in the top surface of the body.
I did not want to increase any damage there. There are two small 3” scratches or very faint cracks along the side of the body but no cracks in back. The back panel is gorgeous.
Wood flaming and finish is wonderful.
There are NO numbers, labels or markings anywhere on this that I can see, and I have looked very closely. As a result, I managed to take several interior photos that show strut support, and this may help to identify correctly. Believe this is all the pertinent info.
If there is a specific question you may have, you must ask me before placing a bid. That will avoid any confusion on your part once you may be the winning bidder.
Please carefully review all images in closeup mode.
    Thanks so much for looking.
