    Description

Up for sale is a beautiful sounding and looking vintage Yamaha classical guitar made by Japanese luthier in 1970s in excellent condition.  The Yamaha model GC-6D at that time was considered to be the top line, concert quality guitar. It was made by all solid wood.
Sound wise, this guitars has a good volume and very nice sound separation like most of the high end Japanese guitar. The bass is very deep and sustaining, while the trebles are clear and projecting well. This guitar looks like it has been taken good care of by the previous owner and not being played that much.
    Full Disclosure
This guitar has been checked by a local luthier. There is no structural damage and repairs, no cracks and no binding separation...Everything is original.  There are 3 dings with the size of 1-2 pencil heads on the top around the bridge that go deep into the finish and down to the wood. Also there is a shirt button scrubbing spot at the back right at the center seam. That one is very superficial. Those issues are so small and I will provide the close-up photos upon request.  The current setup is perfect. For professional player, another bone saddle may be recommended for higher action, depending what type of strings will be installed.
Note: this guitar has certain amount of neck relief due to its long scale and old age. So the string angle at high E is almost flat and that lack of proper string angle could reduce the sound volume. So a neck reset would be a solution or a complete fretboard replacement to raise the string angle will be a best option.
