    Description

This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage 1960s pattern to make a Dress & Cape for your Infant of Prague statue. I have this pattern available in a variety of sizes, so be sure that you are purchasing the correct size. This auction is for the 18" tall statue, as measured from the crown finial to the lower edge of the base and should fit dolls from 17-19" tall. I include a color printout of the front cover, a black and white copy of the instructions, back cover and the complete pattern. Please email me with any questions that you have.
This pattern makes: the Cape or Robe which is lined, edged in red trim and has a stand up collar. The white inside (lining) edge of the cape is embroidered and beaded. The Dress features lace ruffles at the hands and the neckline. It has matching embroidery and beading at the hem.
Please note that this pattern is a photocopy. In order to use the embroidery part as an iron on,  you need to trace the design with a transfer pen. Transfer pens are widely available at fabric and craft stores and Sulky makes a good one. Just trace the design with your pen and then iron it onto your fabric. It will be good for multiple stampings just like a regular iron on transfer. Be sure to follow the manufacturers instructions and test it on scrap fabric before starting on your good material. You can also transfer the design to fabric by holding it up to a light source (like a light box or a window) and tracing the design onto your material.
