This is a drill powered automatic wire stripper used to separate the sheathing from 14ga, 12ga and 10ga AWG (American Wire Gauge) solid core copper building wire, as well as stranded wire from 14ga up to #2 AWG.  It can also be used to strip the sheathing off of Romex style cables. The use of wire other than copper is not recommended. It is for use with plastic type insulation only. This wire stripper was designed  to be affordable, durable and user friendly. The unit comes with a 1/2" shaft to connect to your drill or drill press, 3/8" shaft available upon request. The unit must be operated at an RPM of 400 max. for 14ga and 12ga and 300 rpm for 10ga.
